kidnapped by the faery Puck at seven and transported to middle earth to follow the company, charlie fails in their mission to save the line of durin from their fate. they return for the fellowship, with much more rage and much less blessings than they had before, determined not to let their family die all over again.

kid universe is an omega level mutant targeted by anti-mutant laws in the late 90's. charlie is adopted by tony stark but becomes disillusioned when they realize he holds the same anti-mutant sentiment that killed their family. charlie runs with more local vigilantes and maintains an instagram account based solely on mocking nasa with blurry pictures from different solar systems.
boku no hero academia
charlie awakens a proto-quirk - the evolutionary step between quirks and quirklessness - and in the process of doing so murders two classmates. the us is eager to lock them up for life but a human rights lawyer manages to advocate for a training program - ua has the best after all. they don't want to be a hero (fuck cops, even super powered ones) but they have no choice. luckily they're not totally alone - their hot neighbor seems to hate heroes almost as much as they do!

khar is a mysterious witch who lives in semi seclusion as far from humans as possible: don't ask them where they're from, and don't mention cintra. a communist in a land full of monarchies, and an ...elf(?) in a land full of humans, they assist the common folk as a green witch of medicine, but when war time approaches, and that strange witcher asks, they're not afraid to roll up their embroidered sleeves and rip the world asunder.

failed prodigy and member of the genin corps, charlie stands out in konoha wherever they go - foreign born and fat and tall - but their file isn't under investigation for their strange looks: their academy essays display a disturbing urge to sympathize with the enemy, and they've been observed criticizing the hokage so frequently its almost a joke. anbu hound has been assigned to watch over the suspected traitor, but all he seems to be reporting is that they sleep more than they train!

dropped into gotham at age...15(?) charlie followed around the bats for a while, never realizing how much time was passing until the second robin was leaving and they were frantically trying to tell someone. long time readers of the batman comics may remember the vivid artwork made to look like they were glitching out of the pages: becoming real so they could not interfere with the death of the second son. now known only in association with red hood, the lieutenant uses their power to fight for the marginalized in gotham.
